SUPERIOR SEARCH RESULTS
The standard Maps app sometimes doesnt find what you’re searching? — Where To? is a great alternative because it uses proven Google search results. To switch to Where To? easily, you can launch it from Maps using the last mile navigation feature.

MAP & BROWSER: ALL INTEGRATED
With just a few taps, you can find local hits for any type of place you are looking for. Check the found places on the built-in map or in a list sorted by distance. Then call to make a reservation (optionally using Skype) or check the homepage using the built-in web browser.

AUGMENTED REALITY
Explore a stunning new way of visualization with Where To? 3D (iPhone only, available via In-App-Purchase for all devices under your iTunes account, free trial available). Your points of interest will be displayed on top of reality. It‘s more intuitive than ever to check out nearby locations.

SHAKE TO SURPRISE
Not sure what you want for dinner tonight? Use “Shake to Surprise” to make the choice. Take a chance and find something new and exciting!

MARK YOUR FAVORITE SPOTS
Save your favorite restaurants, shops and places to find them later easily. If you own multiple iOS devices, theyre synced via iCloud.

RATINGS & REVIEWS
“Is the food delicious? The service great?” Where To? collects and displays ratings and reviews from all Where To? and Google users. New reviews can be shared on Facebook and Twitter.

DINNER MENUS
Where To? includes dinner menus for almost 500,000 US restaurants. Compare the menus to select your favorite dining location or make your choice while waiting to be seated.

GET DRIVING DIRECTIONS
Found your destination? Then let your iPhone show you the way – using the built-in route planner or any of more than 40 apps from the App Store. The standard Maps app, Navigon, TomTom, MotionX GPS drive, Waze and many others are supported. Not enough? If you’re driving a Mercedes-Benz or Audi equipped with a suitable onboard navigation system, you can send locations right to the car dashboard.

Pros and cons of Where To? - Discover your next destination using GPS app for iPhone and iPad

Where To? - Discover your next destination using GPS app good for

From Vancouver, Im finding this app both useful and accurate.
I started using Where To not so long after its release. It was cute at the beginning, but had some problems for local searches and French names. It got eventually improved. Once Futuretap took over, I did need to contact support once to report a bug and they were very quick to answer. The new version makes what was once cute now much more efficient and useful. Now I find myself using the app more often than just for impressing people around me. It is not perfect, but it is getting surprisingly good!
I use this app many times. Good if you need to find things in an area you dont know too well. Highly recommended!
Love the fact its now integrated with my Navigon MobileNavigator! Well done, fast... And good looking.
This is a great app. One way to improve would be to let users update or add POI eg. new coffee house rtc.
This is an awesome app!!!! I love it!! I first got it when I went on a family road trip to Edmonton, and it was great for finding awesome restaurants, shops, and helpful places (London Drugs) along the way. I probably wont use all the categories, but good to have. Really nice interface, like stated. This is one of the first apps Ive paid for, and I must say Im very happy with it! :)

Some bad moments

... only as good as the data it mines. Lots of erroneous data for my area. Also lots of missing data. I didnt realize just how badly data is entered in Google!
The yellow pages free app is just as good. Wish I didnt buy it.
HUGE waste of money. It hasnt even been able to find 1 location. Throw your money in the ditch. It will be better used that way.
This app seemed like a great idea and is, but the data base is corrupt, few of errors and omissions. This could be a good app but with all the errors it is useless.
This app is extremely limited. It only applies to about ten cities throughout North America. A waste of money if you are in other cities.
A simple search wont even supplye with a location of one of many supermarkets close by. For some reason on shows Asian ones
